A cashierÕs check, certified check, or acceptable BidderÕs payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the largest possible total for the bid submitted including consideration of alternates, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a Contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable in the Department of Treasury Circular No. 570. The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
