Renovation of a mixed-use development in Des Plaines, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of: HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical Renovation. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all Base Bid work and Alternate Bid work, if applicable. Refer to other Bidding requirements described in Document 00 2100 - Instructions to Bidders. No Bid Security will be required, but a Performance and Payment Bond is required. No Bid Security is required with the Proposal. Invited to submit a bid for 2024 HVAC Improvements at Plainfield Elementary School and Central Maintenance Building. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the Bid that, in its opinion, will serve the best interest of the School District. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.
