The Geauga Park District (GPD) request Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to establish a list of professional design firms to provide professional services including architecture; landscape architecture; civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering; surveying; and geo-technical investigation to be used for future projects pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 153.65-73. Geauga Park District may select a single design professional or firm for any project with an estimated professional design fee of less than fifty-thousand dollars. This amount is subject to change within the limits of the Geauga Park District Board of Park Commissioners. Geauga Park District shall determine that the selected design professional or firm is the most qualified to provide the required professional design services. GPD will send out an annual request to update qualification statements that are on file; however, it is the design firms obligation to keep the qualifications current by providing an annual SOQ updated or statement that nothing has changed from the prior version currently on file. SOQs should include the following information: firms history; resumes of key personnel including professional registrations; list of client references and park-related projects, including a brief description and relative size of each project; proof of professional liability insurance; and previous worked performed in Geauga County or Ohio Counties of similar size. Firms can submit for all services that they may offer and should provide a list of all applicable disciplines and specific project experience relative to each discipline All questions regarding this request are to be submitted in writing to the attention of Matthew McCue at mmccue@geaugaparkdistrict.org.
