“The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies." The Regional School District 15 is seeking to secure a highly qualified Contractor to provide all the labor, materials, supplies, furnishings, services, shop drawings review, equipment, expertise and supervision to fully develop plans and specifications and construct post tension concrete tennis courts with new fencing. The Contractor shall, at its expense, obtain all required permits, inspections, and testing as well as pay any fees required for the development of the Facility, to be located at the Pomperaug High School 234 Judd Road, Southbury, CT 06488. The goal of this project is to provide a new tennis facility using post tension concrete. This project requires CDOL Prevailing Wages. The Scope of Work for the design and construction of this Project consists of the following components: A. Construct 5 new post tension concrete tennis courts with a 20- year warranty. B. Provide new fencing around the courts. C. Provide an acrylic-based sports surface suitable to be installed on top of concrete with a 5-year warranty. It is the Owner's intent to complete the project by May 30, 2024. The Region reserves the right to reject proposals for any reason the Region deems advisable and to award a contract to any of the Proposers of service at the sole discretion of the Region. Any item required in this request for Proposal that is not included in a respondent's Proposal shall be specifically noted. If there are no specifically noted exclusions in a Proposal, it will be assumed that the Proposer accepts and understands all of the requirements of this RFP.
