The improvement includes trenchless sanitary sewer rehabilitation of approximately 226 linear feet of 48-inch, 3,608 linear feet of 84-inch, and 6,904 linear feet of 90-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP), manhole and special structure lining, manhole castings and adjustments, multiple sewage bypasses, sewer cleaning and debris disposal, pre-rehabilitation sewer inspection, traffic control, creek crossing repair, and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File No. 657-101/128, located between SE 1st Street and the James W. Cownie Soccer Park along the south side of the Des Moines River, Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than July 31, 2026 and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $18,963,955.00 Bid Security. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction Preference for Iowa Products and Labor. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes.
