Site work for a civil project in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The City of Davenport is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the Centennial Bridge Seawall Repair Project. This project is located at 209 S. Gaines Street along the Centennial Bridge Seawall access. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials to repair the seawall as shown on the bid plans. Work shall include stone masonry reconstruction, temporary excavation protection, excavation and backfill, revetment stone, steel railing repairs, PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, and other related items. For all bids over $100,000 the City of Davenport requires a bid bond for 5% of the total amount of the project to be submitted with the bid. For all bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to submit a performance, payment, and fouryear maintenance bond for 100% of the total amount of the project.
