Educational Service Center Construction Shall Include, but Not Be Limited to, the Following Main Items of Work: The Contractor is responsible for all labor, material, and equipment required to perform the roof replacements at the Educational Service Center (ESC). Refer to manufacture specifications, industry standards and technical specifications for further details on scope of work. The Contractor is also responsible for providing a secure containment area during roof replacement work. The containment area shall be coordinated and approved by the District prior to the containment being set up. The ESC building and surrounding buildings will be occupied during the roofing project. This project will be completed in phases to accommodate moving occupants below. Project is projected to be completed in 3 phases with no less than 1 week and no more than 3 weeks between phases. Roof removal only on off hours and weekends. Selected roofing contractor is to work with Owner to finalize phasing schedule prior to starting work. Work is to be completed between June 23, 2024 and January 31, 2025. The contractor shall provide 1-year warranty to start upon date of invoice that covers all roofing surfaces, replaced wood members, and finishes that the contractor must correct at no additional cost for any discrepancies of workmanship, or color fading caused by product or application. Contractors License Classification. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code 3300, the District requires that Bidders possess the following classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Contract for the Work is awarded: C-39. Bid Security. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount not less than TEN PERCENT (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of any additive Alternate Bid Item(s).
