The City of Tolar will receive competitive sealed Bids for the Public Works Shop project until 3:00 PM local time on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Tolar City Hall, located at 8712 HWY 377, Tolar, Hood County, Texas 76476. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Cashiers Check or Bid Bond, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a proper Contract and execute Bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bid sureties will be returned to all but the three lowest acceptable bidders within ten days after the opening of Bids. The remaining bid sureties will be returned after the complete execution of the Contract.
