Ensure Existing Room Signage in Display Cases Are at Compliant Heights With Compliant Text Sizes. New Interior Layout Including Kitchenette, Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical Work . Exterior : Remove Approximately 575’ of Existing Asphalt Side Platform. Remove Existing Parking Stalls and Ramp From Parking Aisle. Remove Path of Travel Sidewalk and Ramp to Portico Level. Remove Existing Stairs Leading From Parking to Portico Level. Remove Non-compliant Restroom Accessories and Wall Construction. Remove All Materials per Uprr Specifications and Applicable Regulations. New Site Grading. Draining and Utilities to Support New Platform and Access. Identify Existing Sub-Grade Drainage System, Extents on the Site and Design Connections. Walkways Consist of Cast -In-Place Concrete Flat Slab, 4 Inch Depth Unless Otherwise Determined by Geotechnical Recommendations or Host Railroad Requirements. One(1) New ADA Parking Stall and ADA Compliant Drop Off/Pick up Zone. New ADA Compliant Path of Travel From ADA Parking to Station Building and Platform. New Mobile Lift and Accompanying Enclosure(Wcle) On New Slab With Direct Access to New Platform. Modify Walkway(s) From the Platform and Connect to Existing Station Building Entrance. New Ramp(s) Connecting Platform to Walkways and Parking. New 12’ Clear Concrete Platform, 8” Atr, 425’ in Length Including Detectable Warning Strips and Platform Fence. New Compliant Transitions to Platform From Station Entrance. New Electrical Circuits and Lighting Along Entire Platform. New Fence at the Back of the Platform. New Exit Gates With Required Hardware. New Platform Signage and Foundations per Amtrak Standards, as Required. Award is anticipated in mid-January.
