As an integral part of health and safety of many healthcare organizations today, SHERBOURNE is required to implement and maintain security systems such as Real Time Locating System to ensure the safety of all occupants and visitors within the health centre. SHERBOURNE has leased its 5th and 6th floors to St. Michael's Hospital/Unity Health to redevelop and operate its 36 inpatient bed Withdrawal Management Service (WMS). The estimated completion date is spring, 2024 for the program space renovations to be completed resulting in an additional operational footprint of 25,000 sq. ft. and increased related foot traffic/program activity by spring, 2024. - Duress Alarm system will support 7/24 program operations, including two inpatient units. - Community and clinical programs are offered by Sherbourne during weekdays - Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm (staff complement of 150 full-time and part-time staff). Tenant Partners leasing space at Sherbourne represents an additional 20 staff and volunteers. - Duress alarm system must support 210 to 300 users. - Duress alarm system must provide coverage to the basement and floors 1 to 8 (5/6th currently under construction; and 7/8th are mechanical penthouse) and parking lots. Floors 1 to 3 provides clinical and community programs, thus require more sensors and greater accuracy of coverage. - Floors 5 to 6 duress alarm system to be installed following occupancy, expected in spring 2024. - Basement, 4th and 7/8th floors are restricted to administration and back-office staff (non client-facing), thus require less sensors and lower accuracy of coverage. - Duress alarm system command centre will be located on the first floor Information desk. - Site visits with qualified RFP vendors will be scheduled to identify the appropriate number of sensors and accuracy of coverage.
