SCOPE OF SERVICES County anticipates that the firm selected for this work shall create and operate a forty (40) bed MHRC in Chico CA to provide FIRM shall admit patients with a DSM 5-TR diagnosis subject to bed availability, the order of a physician, and compliance with reasonable admission policies and procedures. Clients expected to be served in the MHRC include, individuals in need of 24-hour skilled nursing services, patients who may have histories of be havioral symptoms (such as combativeness, elopement risk, suicide risk, and excessiveverbal abusiveness) which preclude them from being admitted into a lower level care facility, individuals who are returning to the community from a State Hospital, and individuals who have complex co-occurring conditions (including substance use disorders). The County of Butte is seeking a firm to open and operate a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center with up to 40 (but no less than 20) beds in Chico, CA. Please see RFP 40-24 document for requirements and specifications. The term of this Agreement shall commence on July 1, 2023 and shall continue in full force and effect through June 30, 2024.
