The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation (CiTi) is seeking proposals to select a contractor to perform specialized cleaning services that is inclusive of HVAC-related duct work. There is no expressed or implied obligation for CiTi to reimburse responding contractors or individuals for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to the solicitation. During the evaluation process, CiTi reserves the right, where it may serve CiTi's best interest, to request additional information or clarifications from proposers, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions. CiTi reserves the right to retain all bids submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal regardless of whether that bid is selected. Submission of a bid indicates acceptance by the contractor of the conditions contained in this bid request, unless any and all such exceptions are clearly and specifically noted in the bid submitted and confirmed in the contract between CiTi and the selected contractor. Anticipated Award : Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the CiTi Board of Education Meeting In 2017 CiTi added a modular classroom building to its main campus in Mexico (179 County Route 64, Mexico, NY 13114). The structure is 70' x 140' and includes eight (8) standard-sized high school classrooms as well as a few small ancillary spaces for administration and support staff. Each classroom is heated and cooled using a Bard exterior wall-mounted unit. CiTi is seeking a contractor to perform specialized cleaning services in the classrooms, inclusive of services to the HVAC units and air ducts, in an effort to increase the overall air quality of the classroom spaces.
