Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Minnesota State System Office has been located in the Wells Fargo Place (WFP) tower in downtown St. Paul for over 20 years. The amount of space utilized has varied over the years with the current occupancy being almost 90,000 sq.ft. The lease on our current space expires August 1, 2024. We are planning a downsizing and renovation to roughly 50,000 sq.ft. in the Wells Fargo Place Tower. This RFP is to hire an Architecture/Engineering team to assist with the design and provide oversight on the construction of the project. It is anticipated that the team will include an architect, interior designer, mechanical and electrical engineers and technology planner. As of September 25, 2024, per owner, an architect team has been selected. They have completed the bidding phase and their landlord is providing the construction. It is not contracted through Minnesota State. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
