Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Marion, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Request for interpretation must be in writing, email is authorized, addressed to the address indicated above and received by the Smyth County School Board no later than Seven (7) days prior to the date of proposal opening. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided herein. Smyth County School Board is requesting bids for the demolition and removal of the abandoned white house behind the softball field at Marion Senior High School. Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, equipment, and disposal fees necessary for the complete removal and clean-up of the structure, bid to include any necessary grading and off site fill material necessary to fill the removed basement area and work area to existing elevations. Bid to also include all necessary reseeding and temporary ground cover to allow new grass to be established without erosion issues. Contractor to furnish documentation of proper disposal of all waste materials. Contractor to have proper state of Virginia licenses and necessary insurance coverages The Smyth County School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and waive any informality in the competitive negotiation process. Further, the School Board reserves the right to enter into any contract deemed to be in the best interest of the school division.
