Shut down power supply to booster pump, disconnect and make safe. -Shut down domestic cold water supply to boost pump and drain. -Demolish (1) B+G duplex booster pump system and approximately 15' of 4" galvanized water supply pipe. -Install (1) Duplex booster pump system, Model 2VC-ECO duplex variable speed booster system, (1) 80 gallon hydropneumatic booster pump, and approximately 15' of 4" copper water supply piping. -Install approximately 20' of 1/2" indirect drain piping from solenoids and thermal reliefs to the nearest available floor drain. -Install all necessary raceway and wiring to control panel. -Fill system and test for proper rotation and operation. -Cover piping with 1" thick fiberglass insulation and zeston fittings. Questions Due Date: Oct 27th 2023, 2:30 PM CDT Each Bidder must include in their Bid the premium cost for the performance and payment Bond in the full amount of their contract, when the project is over $50,000. If the Bidder fails to furnish the performance bond within seven (7) days after acceptance of the Bidder's Bid, by the Board, the Bid acceptance maybe rescinded, and the Bidder maybe precluded from further Bidding with the Board. The performance Bond must be issued by a surety acceptable to the Board and Licensed by the State of Illinois. If bid price is over $25,000 or more, bidder must be signatory to relevant union, per terms of the Various Trades Contract and Project Labor Agreement. If bid price is over $75,000, you MUST include your MBE/WBE subs and relevant forms at time of bid. Warranty Period(s): From date of Substantial Completion: Packaged Booster Pumps: 3 years on controls, variable speed drives, and control panels.
