Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The FEMA P-361 Safe Room is a 52x48 new building that is located next to an existing open pavilion. The safe room includes a gathering area, kitchen, two restrooms, a storage room, utility room and generator room. When the safe room is not in use for emergencies, it will be used as an event space and gathering area. The safe room must comply with all FEMA P-361 requirements and regulations as well as the ICC 500 Design of Storm Shelters codes. The 2,529 square foot building will be constructed of Insulated Concrete Form exterior walls and a concrete roof. FEMA approved windows & doors are required on the exterior walls. The interior walls will be standard wood construction. A new private septic system is to be installed in accordance with the completed design. HVAC and electrical systems including a generator are included in the project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Bank check or Money Order, (but not a personal check or company check), in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price, payable to Wood County as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted Performance and Payment Bonds: 100%. Available date October 18th, 2023, The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids,
