Notice is hereby given that the City of Albany (City), Oregon, is requesting bids for City Property Mowing of approximately 184 acres of combined park and city property beginning January 1, 2024, for five years, with the option to extend three additional one-year terms. Last Date for Substitution Requests November 15, 2023, 12:00 p.m. Last Date for Questions November 17, 2023, 12:00 p.m. Last Date for Addenda November 21, 2023, 2:00 p.m. Notice of Intent to Award November 29, 2023 Protest Ends (seven days) December 5, 2023, 12:00 p.m. Council Award December 13, 2023 Contract Execution December 20, 2023 Contract Begins January 1, 2024 Failure to become acquainted with the physical conditions of the project will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility of properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Contractor warrants, as a result of examination and investigation of all data, the work can be performed in a good workmanlike manner to the satisfaction of the City.
