Road Realignment for Diemer Road Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: Reroute a section of Diemer Road with use of excavation, road base, and application of roadway surfacing and complete associated appurtenances. A bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Waller County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (i.e., not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. Waller County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Waller County for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
