No definite date for the rebid.** The Trustees of the Nelson County Public Library will accept sealed bids for the replacement and renovation of three public restrooms of the Main Public Library located at 201 Cathedral Manor, Bardstown, KY 40004, and; with written bids for a fixed sum for the project to be accepted and considered prior to the date and time stated above. Interested parties should have experience with commercial bathroom renovation projects and are welcome to contact the Library Director to arrange a time for an inspection of the premises. o All bids should include the labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and necessary accessories for the removal of the fixtures and finishes in the existing restrooms. o Bids should include the furnishing and installation of 5 new hands-free wall mounted toilets. 3 in the women's of which 1 is handicap accessible, 2 in the men's of which 1 is handicapped accessible, 1 floor mounted hand free toilet in the family restroom, install 1 wall mounted urinal for the men's room.
o Install correct application of a mutually agreed upon wall tile approximately 6 feet from the floor, install correct application of mutually agreed upon flooring tile, paint ceiling and non-tiled walls with a mutually agreed upon color.
o Install proper partitions and stalls with locking doors in the men's room (2) and women's room (3).
o Install 4 new under counter hands free sinks in men and women's restrooms (2 each), install 1 new wall mounted handsfree sink in the family restroom.
o Install in each restroom (3) a securable hose bibb and a proper floor drain cover.
o Install in each restroom motion detected LED lighting with a motion detected high speed exhaust fan. Preferably connected to the lighting system.
o Refurbish existing exterior entry doors and install new kick plates. Bids should clearly document:
o That Proof of General Liability and Workers' Compensation insurance for damages and/or injuries that may occur during work is required in as a condition of the approval of any contract.
o Estimated time frame for mobilization and completion of demolition and installation.
o Obtain all necessary permits at the cost of the Bidder. The Nelson County Public Library Board of Trustees reserves the rights to accept or reject any and all bids, to consider design engineering suggestions from bidders and to negotiate with Bidders to the extent permitted by law.
