Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Columbia, South Carolina. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Firms shall provide required disciplines (in-house or consultants), to include Architecture, Mechanical (HVAC & Plumbing), Electrical, Fire Protection, and Structural. Investigate and evaluate functionality and life-expectancy of various bldgs. CJA desires an architectural and engineering assessment and evaluation of the building systems for approximately fifteen facilities on the Broad River Rd Campus Complex. The reporting shall be in accordance with ASTM E2018 and related standards; however, the evaluation shall exceed more than a walk-thru survey. Each facility report shall catalog the building systems, the condition of the systems, the life-expectancy of the systems, and any other conditions of concern. The report shall also list, by timeline, the urgency for all repairs/replacement of outdated systems from "in need of repair" to "nearing end of life". An approximate cost estimate of each building system shall be provided to indicate the cost to repair versus the cost to replace. LICENSURE: To be considered for selection, persons or firms must be properly licensed in accordance with the requirements of Title 40 of the SC Code of Laws, as amended at the time of resume submission. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
