Fayetteville Public Schools (the "District") seeks the assistance of a qualified professional Construction Manager (the "CM") to provide construction oversight for the Butterfield and Happy Hollow Elementary Schools HVAC and Building Automation System Replacement Project 2024. Firms responding must have demonstrated relevant experience similar to this project. The Facility Improvements Committee seeks a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to be issued in accordance with the approval of the 3-Year Maintenance Improvement Plan from the district Board of Directors on September 28, 2023. The CM shall be responsible to meet the intent of the items noted within this charge, without exception. The CM shall be required to enter into a contract with the district containing such terms as are satisfactory to the district. The contract shall incorporate the scope of services to be included for this project as described in the CM's qualifications. It should be noted the district is excluded from performing any paid work in connection with this RFQ. BACKGROUND Butterfield Elementary School was constructed in 1967 and had an addition added in 2008. The overall square footage of the building is 71,939. The proposed scope of work for Happy Hollow Elementary School is as follows: Complete upgrade replacement of HVAC equipment BACKGROUND Happy Hollow Elementary School was constructed in 2011 and had a six-classroom addition in 2022. The overall square footage of the building is 74,567. The Facility Improvements Committee and/or superintendent of the district may reject any and all proposals, if it is in the best interest of the district to do so.
