Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Firms responding must have demonstrated relevant experience similar to this project. The Facility Improvements Committee seeks a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to be issued in accordance with the approval of the 3-Year Maintenance Improvement Plan from the district Board of Directors on September 28, 2023. The CM shall be responsible to meet the intent of the items noted within this charge, without exception. The CM shall be required to enter into a contract with the district containing such terms as are satisfactory to the district. The contract shall incorporate the scope of services to be included for this project as described in the CM's qualifications. It should be noted the district is excluded from performing any paid work in connection with this RFQ. The proposed scope of work for Root Elementary School is as follows: Complete reroofing project with the exception of the 2022 addition. BACKGROUND Root Elementary School was constructed in 1955 and had an addition added in 1979, 2003, and 2022. The overall square footage of the building is 54,598. The Facility Improvements Committee and/or superintendent of the district may reject any and all proposals, if it is in the best interest of the district to do so. No late submissions will be considered. Equal-opportunity employers are encouraged to submit a proposal.
