Renovation of a mixed-use development in Anderson, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents, which are on file with the Owner and may be examined by prospective bidders at the following location(s): Local Plan Rooms Office of the Owner Work will be executed under a single Prime Contract, executed on a lump sum basis. A "Bidder" is defined as any entity submitting a Bona Fide bid for the Work as defined in the Project Manual and as described above. Subcontractors and material suppliers may purchase plans. Bids will be executed on proposal forms furnished by the Architect/Engineer, which are in accordance with the Indiana State Board of Accounts Form #96, as required by the Statutes of the State of Indiana. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of one hundred ten percent (110%) of their contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. Bidder Pre-Qualification: All Bidders must be in compliance with Indiana statutes regarding pre-qualification. This work shall be completed using Federal grant funding. All labor costs shall be subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates for the County where the Work is to be completed. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid (or combination of Bids) and to waive irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days before awarding contracts. 1. Disconnection and Removal of existing above ceiling multizone air handling units serving classrooms and offices. Disconnect existing hot water, chilled water and condensate piping and electrical power. Remove all associated above ceiling supply, return and outside air ductwork. Remove celling supply and return grilles, registers and diffusers. 2. Provide and Install new roof mounted air handling units with heating hot water and chilled water coils. New supply duct and return duct. Extend piping connections to new roof units and new VAV terminal boxes. 3.Provide new VAV terminal boxes with controls and new grilles, registers and diffusers. 4.Provide new 2'x 2' ceiling grid where indicated. Save original pads and grid to use to replace damaged material. In other areas, remove grid and pads as required for mechanical installation and replace the original material. 5. New electrical circuits and connections and new temperature controls. 6.All work as indicated on the contract drawings and specifications.
