Bonding: The NPS anticipates bid, performance and payment bonds will be required Project Description: The project is located at Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The construction magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The surrounding area is urban with limited staging. Access to the site, project staging, and material deliveries requires significant coordination. The construction site is within the city of Philadelphia and close to suppliers and lodging facilities. The building will be closed during construction. The site requires protective measures to ensure the surrounding area remains undisturbed. The structure is a cultural resource. The anticipated period of performance of approximately 520 calendar days from notice to proceed including any potential weather shutdown. There are no expected seasonal/other shutdowns mandated through the construction season. Winter construction may be required.
