The Town of Sexsmith is requesting proposals for the pick-up and disposal of solid waste and collection of recyclables as well as a cost to have curbside compostable yard waste (lawn clippings) pick-up service. The term will begin January 1, 2024, for a term of one year that may be renewed each year up to a maximum of 4 additional years. Proposals may include the provision of services for waste only, recycling only, and curbside leaf and yard waste only or as a combination of the services shown separately from each other. The Town will consider proposals that include waste only, recycling only, or yard compostable services only The contractor will pick up the following items: o Grass Clippings/Yard Waste o Furniture and couches/chairs (under 6 feet long) o Normal household garbage o Tree limbs (bundled) o Fencing/wood products bundled into 6-foot lengths o Entertainment Centers o Cardboard o Items under 70 lbs. in weight
