Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via electronically no later than 5 p.m. on Monday October 30, 2023. 2023 Pavement Digout Project, Phase 3 Project Description This project generally consists of grinding and paving asphalt concrete digouts, traffic control, storm water pollution control and related incidental work on Sir Francis Drake Blvd from Chicken Beach Ranch to Pierce Point Rd. To bid on this Project, the Bidder and all subcontractors are required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Bidder's and all subcontractors' registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at time of bid submittal. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $170,000. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. A Bid Bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. Bidder must visit the work site before submitting a bid. Bidder shall thoroughly investigate the conditions which will be encountered in the project including, but not limited to, existing underground and overhead utilities, steep, rocky terrain, road width, space needed to flag traffic, staging and site access challenges. Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted later than 5 p.m. on Monday October 30, 2023. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening.
