As of November 27, 2023, project was awarded to IROQUOIS PAVING CORPORATION , awarded amount is $536,445.86. City/County Will The project involves rehabilitation of the existing single span PPC deck beam bridge (480 kewed right, carrying T.R. 390 (Highland Road) over Black Walnut Creek. Construction consists of removal of existing PPC deck beams and replacing with post tensioned PPC deck beams with HMA overlay and waterproofing. In-stream work will consist of removal of abutment caps and wingwalls, and installation of permanent sheet piling below the abutment cap. The adjoining roads will be re-aligned vertically with the existing road, ditches and a guardrails added on all 4 quadrants. Project Location: Existing bridge on Highland Road north of Pauling-Goodenow Roa Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation. Prequalification forms may be secured from the Engineer of Construction, Administration Building, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62764.
