Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 800-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of: 1. A new Electrical Building with approximate dimensions of 40 feet x 20 feet. 2. HVAC for new Electrical Building. 3. Replacement of existing exhaust fans and starters in existing electrical room. 4. Site work for installation of new building and electrical equipment. 5. New switchgear and associated circuiting to replace existing 480V, 3000A equipment. 6. Installation of Owner-supplied equipment including a 750kW generator, 2.5MVA transformer, and Automatic Transfer Switch. 7. New 35kV gang operated air break switch on existing structure. Separate Bids will be received for the following schedules of work: A. 1A - General Construction B. 1B - Mechanical Construction. C. 1C - Electrical Construction A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price. Owner is exempt from New York State sales and use taxes on materials and equipment to be incorporated in the Work.
