Stone, sand and gravel as listed on the pricing schedule. The great majority of product purchased will be picked up at Contractor's facility by Chesterfield County. Bidders are required to have at least one facility within ten (10) miles of the Chesterfield County line in order to minimize truck and fuel costs to the County. It is the County's intent to award to multiple contractors or a Contractor with multiple facilities to enable the County to use the facility closest to a particular County project site. The County will occasionally request delivery be made by the Contractor. Hauling charges are requested in the Pricing Schedule for these deliveries.
