Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education, Ponca City Public Schools, Ponca City, Kay County will receive sealed bids at the school located at 613 East Grand, Ponca City, Oklahoma until 2:00 P.M Local Time, on Tuesday November 14, 2023 for: Ponca City Public Schools: Wildcat Academy and West Middle School Front Entry Renovation. Project is to remodel existing entries to increase security measure at main entries at both West Middle school and Wildcat Academy. The scope of work at West Middle School is to remove portions of existing aluminum storefront system and to replace with new aluminum ballistic storefront frame and glass system. There is also a small ballistic wall infill with ceramic tile finish at new lobby guard countertop and associated electrical and data for computer and magnetic door lock systems. The scope at Wildcat Academy is to remove an existing wall and hollow metal door and install a new ballistic hollow metal frame and glass door. The walls in the vestibule will be reinforced with ballistic material and covered with ceramic tile. A new hollow metal ballistic transaction window and lobby guard. As of January 19, 2024, the construction manager has awarded all trades for this project. Construction is expected to start May 2024 *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
