The Successful contractor will remove and refurbish tree protectors from the blocks listed in the Schedule B by May 31, 2024. All refurbished tree protectors with new zap straps will be bundled and stored in the Campbell River Natural Resource District office as per the attached Tree Protector Packing and Storage Instructions. Replacement zap straps, twine, shrink wrap and poly tarps for refurbishment will be supplied FOB Campbell River Office at 370 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River, BC, V9W 6Y7. Damaged protectors not suitable for refurbishment and all non-organic tree protector components will be disposed of at an approved landfill as directed by the BCTS Contract Manager. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.StraitofGeorgiaTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 11:00 am on November 8, 2023. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to electronically by November 10, 2023. If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above.
