Reference Number 0000258768 The Carbon Capture plant at BD3 generate waste which need to be stored, removed and disposed of from site. This waste consists of various by-products from the processes that make up the clean coal project and each have to be removed at regular intervals, which could vary depending on the waste stream. The Contractor will supply and install all storage containers, piping and provide waste hauling work as required to remove all waste generated by the carbon capture plant. In addition, the Contractor shall ensure all waste materials removed from the site are treated/handled/disposed appropriately. The Contractor is required to obtain all licenses and permits as required for transportation, treatment and disposal. It is Not Intended That the Following Description Will Exactly Specify the Scope of Work in Complete Details; Rather, It Shall Be the Contractor's Responsibility to Meet Saskpower's Requirements. The Scope of Work Shall Include, but Not Be Limited to, the Following: (a) Obtain or Ensure That All Necessary Permits, Licences, Etc., Are Current (Valid, Complete, Etc. Including From the Subcontractors); (B) Supply and Install Clean Storage Containers and Equipment as Required; (C) Supply and Erect Temporary, Piping, Pipe Fittings, Valves and Equipment as Needed to Connect Storage Tanks to the Waste Disposal Equipment; (D) Provide All Labour, Including Supervision to Carry Out the Necessary Operations During the Waste Removal Process, Temporary Storage, Pumping on the Hauling Trucks, and Removal From the Site; (E) the Contractor Will Ensure That the Temporary Tanks Are Equipped With an Isolation Valve, and Will Provide All Tank Transport, Installation, and All Necessary Secondary Containment in Accordance With Federal, Provincial and Municipal Regulations; Duration: 3 years Option: Two (2) One (1) year option terms Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
