Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
City of Cottage Grove, Cottage Grove, Minnesota, is presently soliciting competitive Prime Contract Bids for the City of Cottage Grove Utility and Engineering Building. All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid receipt without consent of the Owner. Each bidder shall accompany the Bid Form with a bid security as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids. The overall project consists of a complete new utility and engineering building and surrounding site features. The building is framed with precast and structural steel. Interior finishes will include new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Responsible Contractor: Minnesota Statute 16C.285, all provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference and made applicable to this solicitation, requires that all construction contracts that are awarded through a solicitation issued on or after January 1, 2015 may only be awarded to a responsible contractor. The term responsible contractor as used in this solicitation has the same meaning as the term has in Minn. Stat. 16C.285, subd. 3. In order to qualify as a responsible contractor, the contractor or subcontractor, for its portion of the project, must meet the minimum criteria as set forth in Minn. Stat. 16C.285, subd.
