Site work and paving for a civil project in Diberville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Per the owner, as of November 4, 2024, this project has been completed. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............ SCOPE OF WORK...... shall include but not be limited to: project management and construction engineering and inspection. The project shall consist of replacing an undersized cast in place box culvert and nearby roadbed, reroute and install new drainage pipes into the box culvert, reshape the upstream and downstream drainage ditch which has grouted rip rap ditch banks and flow line and reconstruct the curbed asphalt road east and west of the box culvert. Additionally, the project will consist of reshaping grassed areas and resod to match existing grass. Also, a complete shutdown of Suzanne Drive will be required until the completion of the new box culvert. The anticipated project completion date is April 30, 2024. Any contract awarded under this solicitation may be paid for in whole or in part with grant funding from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality / Mississippi Municipality and County Wastewater Infrastructure Grant ARPA Subaward 549-2-SW-5.6 . Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be subject to the terms and conditions of said funding award, Treasury Regulations, Subpart D, all applicable terms and conditions in 2 C. F. R. Part 200 (including Appendix II to Part 200), and all other OMB circulars, executive orders or other federal laws or regulations, as applicable. The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, the United States, or any of its departments, agencies or employees is not and will not be a party to this solicitation or any resulting contract. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to submit a statement of qualifications and encouraged to make inquires regarding potential subcontracting opportunities. When subcontracting, all potential contractors must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. See 2. C. F. R. 200.321. SUBRECIPIENT along with any sub-grantee, contractor, sub-contractor, successor, transferee, and assignee shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits recipients of federal financial assistance from excluding from a program or activity, denying benefits of, or otherwise discriminating against a person on the basis of race, color, or national origin (42 U.S.C. 2000d et seq.), as implemented by the Department of the Treasury's Title VI regulations, 31 CFR Part 22, which are herein incorporated by reference and made part of this Agreement. Title VI also includes protection to persons with "Limited English Proficiency" in any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance, 42 U.S.C. 2000d et seq., as incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement. Further, SUBRECEIPIENT agrees to comply with the provisions of CIVIC RIGHTS ACT OF 1964. Firms interested in providing these services may so indicate by furnishing the City of D'Iberville six (6) copies of the following: 1. A cover letter specifying the name and complete description of project, the name of the project manager, and the location and address of the office to be assigned the majority of the work; 2. A resume for each principal member, the project engineer, project manager, and employee(s) of the firm anticipated to be assigned to the project and each person's experience and qualifications, including proof that the Project Design Engineer is licensed as a Mississippi Professional Engineer and that the firm has met state licensure and certification requirements*; 3. A description of similar type work completed during the past five years which qualifies the consultant/firm for this work; the cost and schedule completion (or actual completion) of this work. 4. Part II of Standard Form (SF) 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications 5. A response containing the information upon which the consultant will be evaluated. The City of D'Iberville will evaluate the Proposals based on the following factors listed in their relative order of importance: * -Category Points -consider firms knowledge of the City sewer system and past project experience, 25pts. -consider firms project approach specific to this proposed Project 25pts. -experience and in-house capabilities of the firm to perform specialized services required by the project, 25pts. -firm's past experience on similar projects with MDEQ and/or other clients; and quality and technical relevance of the firm's proposal. 25pts. A fee schedule is not required; this will be negotiated upon selection of a firm by qualification. The City of D'Iberville reserves the right to select one (1) consultant or select a short list of consultants from whom more information will be required. Only written requests to the above addressee will be considered. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
