The Contractor must provide all adequate and competent labor, equipment, tools, testing, and materials necessary to widen and improve the turning radius on Blackwell Dr. (R04E021) at Louand Dr.(R04E18) Section 7 Township 8S Range 11E, Lacombe as required in the specifications. The time period for completion of the project is thirty (30) calendar days. Any work that may be reasonably inferred from the specifications or drawings as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied whether or not it is specifically called for. Work, materials or equipment described herein which so applied to this project are covered by a wellknown technical meaning or specification shall be deemed to be governed by such recognized standards unless specifically excluded. If the estimated cost of the work is $50k or more a Contractor licensed by the State to do the type of work indicated in Section 2.1 may submit a quote. The Respondent's signature on the quote certifies that he holds an active license under the provisions of Chapter 24 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes, Title 37. Failure to be properly licensed constitutes authority for the Parish to reject the quote. The Parish reserves the right to require a Contractor licensed for less than $50k depending on the requiements set forth in Section 2.1 and shall provide within 10 days after being notified of an Award. For projects costing twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or more, the successful Respondent shall be required to provide a performance (surety) bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project cost to insure the successful performance under the terms and conditions of the contract negotiated between the successful Respondent and the Parish. The contract shall not be in force or binding upon the Parish until such satisfactory bond has been provided to and approved by the Parish. The cost of the bond shall be paid by the Contractor. The Parish reserves the right to change the Schedule of Events or issue Addenda to the Quote Request at any time. The Parish also reserves the right to cancel or reissue the Quote Request. If the Respondent needs to submit changes or addenda, such shall be submitted in writing, signed by an authorized representative of the Respondent, cross-referenced clearly to the relevant quote section, prior to the quote opening. Such shall meet all requirements for the quote. St. Tammany Parish Government reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to waive informalities.
