The City of Naperville is accepting bids for maintenance and repair of the Citys street lighting, controller, and municipal lot lighting services from qualified lighting and electrical vendors. The objective is to contract with lighting and electrical vendors that provide services including, but not limited to, maintenance of street lights, public lighting controllers and municipal lot lighting within the City. Bid security in the form of a certified check or cashiers check payable to the City of Naperville, or a satisfactory bid bond, in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid must be scanned and submitted with the E-Bid response. During the bid review process, the City may require a bidder to submit the original bid security to confirm authenticity. All questions concerning this bid shall be submitted in writing at least five business days prior to the online bid opening to Ryan La Russo at larussor@naperville.il.us. The deadline for questions is Wednesday, November 15, 2023 by 12:00 p.m The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any nonconformity in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interests of the City. Execution of a performance bond and labor and materials Bond: when noted in the specifications, the city reserves the right to require the Successful bidder to supply a performance bond and a labor and materials bond within Ten (10) calendar days of acceptance of the bidder's proposal by the city. The bonds, Unless otherwise specified by the purchasing manager, shall be 100% of the total contract Price.
