Reference number : 1775555 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-11-15 Université du Québec à Montréal is calling for tenders for the renovation of masonry facades and aluminum windows at the J.-A.-DeSève Pavilion (DS), located at 320 Sainte-Catherine Street East in Montreal. Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 11 Exterior work includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of sections of the siding with architectural concrete blocks; Partial repointing of mortar joints of architectural concrete block siding; Repair of aluminum windows and curtain walls; Replacement of thermos lenses; Replacement of steel doors and frames; Replacement of aluminum frames and doors; Replacement of door hardware; Garage door replacement; Installation of new guardrails; Painting of exterior fabricated metals; Replacement of roof flashings; Concrete repair and sealing; The addition of structural supports; Repair of control joints and sealant around the perimeter of openings; Cleaning of facades; Installation of temporary filters on louvers; Demolition, protection, solining, patching and other work necessary for the complete completion of the Structure. Interior Works include, but are not limited to: Internal mobilization and installation of temporary protections; Removal and reinstallation of equipment at doors; Electrify and connect the doors to the fire relay; Replacement of the heating in the main entrance; The addition of a louver on the hood of the café; Removal and reinstallation of blinds; Demolition and construction of interior ceiling sections; Interior painting and finishing joint work (caulking); Correction of deficiencies, demobilization and final cleaning. The work also involves all related works such as: development and cleaning of the site, temporary protection work, repairs and modifications to existing interior fittings, jointing work, repairs and required openings. The Contract also includes the recovery of certain existing equipment and its reinstallation. The Contractor shall assume that the users and occupants of the building will continue to operate during the work, in the spaces adjacent to the work zones as well as on the floors above and below. The Contractor shall act in such a way as to minimize the inconvenience to users and personnel. Similarly, the outdoor courtyard, access, etc., will also continue to be used throughout the duration of the work.
