The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting quotes to furnish and deliver VDOT approved CCA treated bridge timbers to VDOT - Louisa Bridge Section, 3709 Davis Highway Louisa, VA 23093 Vendor shall call Phillip Burke at 540 303-5979 - Phillip.Burke@vdot.virginia.gov or Michael Danuser 540 531-8474 at least 48 hours prior to delivery. VDOT will not be responsible for items delivered without delivery arrangements. Vendor's claims as a result of failure to make advance delivery arrangements will not be considered. Delivery charges shall be included in bid price submitted. Delivery will be accepted during normal work hours - Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. No delivery will be accepted on State Observed Holidays This solicitation is set-aside as Small Business Enhancement Award Priority. See Special Terms and Conditions "Award". A. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver VDOT approved CCA treated wood bridge timbers as follows: Bid Line 1: 25 each - Southern Pine #1 Dense - Size-5 inch by 10 inch by 24 feet long Bid Line 2: 50 each - Southern Pine #1 Dense - Size-5 inch by 10 inch by 26 feet long Bid Line 3: 50 each - Southern Pine #1 Dense - Size-4 inch by 10 inch by 18 feet long Bridge Timbers shall be delivered on or before February 15, 2024. VDOT will accept early delivery prior to February 15, 2024. Payment will be made (in accordance with the Virginia Prompt Payment Act) within 30 days after receipt of valid invoice and verification of satisfactory goods and/or completion of work. Payment shall be made upon receipt of invoice and final acceptance by VDOT.
