Start date December 2024, substantial completion March 2026. All trades are let. The Owner seeks to construct a new animal care shelter with administration offices, detached barn, and outdoor space. This new shelter will be approximately 70,500 square feet (SF) with an additional 7,025 SF underroof for the indoor/outdoor kennels. The building will accommodate Cat Adoption, Dog Adoption, Training, Vet Services, Surrender, Enforcements, Administration, Kennels, and Building Services with additional outdoor areas for a Public Dog Park, Adoption Center Play Area, and other support areas. It will be constructed on a portion of a 24-acre parcel currently beingtransferred to the City of Indianapolis.
