The OWNER may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all BIDS. The Project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following items in accordance with the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS and PROJECT DRAWINGS: Mobilization and Demobilization of all necessary equipment to the project site. Removal of dredge material from the project site to Placement Areas specified in these Contract Documents. Question Deadline Nov 20, 2023 CONTRACTOR shall complete all WORK as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The WORK is generally described as follows: The Project will include up to 20.5 miles of dredging for channel deepening along the Sabine-Neches Waterway from Sabine Bank Channel to Sabine Pass Channel. Dredged material will be placed in a designated Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). The Base Bid WORK will require dredging approximately 7,615,000 cubic yards of new work material and 3,694,000 cubic yards of maintenance material. Other related work includes multiple bathymetric surveys; hazard surveys for debris identification; debris removal and disposal; sea turtle protection and relocation and other subsidiary WORK.
