As of February 21, 2025, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase and pending funding. A timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Providing planning, design and architectural/landscape architectural/engineering services: including planning updates, design, permitting, and possible future bid and construction phase services for replacement of the War Memorial Pool bathhouse located on Mattoon Street and upgrade of the surrounding area. Design shall include preparation of general specifications and bid ready documents for construction bidding, in accordance with the scope of services outlined in Part I. The fee for services through permitting is not-to-exceed $200,000. Final construction bid documents must be ready to distribute by the end of June 2024 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
