The Contractor shall furnish the following goods and services at the below listed location: 216 Great Bridge Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23320 This includes 9 office spaces, 3 individual restrooms, 1 visitor's lounge, 1 meeting space, 1 small warming kitchen, 1 medical room and 3 treatment specific rooms. The building is 4,864 square feet. The period of this contract shall be One (1) year from the effective date with Four (4) optional, One (1) year renewals upon mutual written agreement of the parties. All firms doing business with the City are required to be properly licensed in accordance with the City of Chesapeake's "Business, Professional, and Occupational Licensing (BPOL) Tax" ordinance. Wholesale and retail merchants not located in Chesapeake are exempt from this requirement. For questions concerning the applicability of the BPOL tax, contact the Commissioner of the Revenue at 757-382- 6738. Unless the bidders/offerors is registered as a DSBSD-certified small business and where it is practicable for any portion of the awarded contract to be subcontracted to other suppliers, the Contractor/Consultant is encouraged to offer such subcontracting opportunities to DSBSD-certified small businesses. This shall not exclude DSBSD-certified women-owned and minority-owned businesses when they have received DSBSD small business certification. The City reserves the right to conduct any tests it may deem advisable and to make all evaluations. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award.
