Snow Removal Services for BRA and CPED owned Properties. You are invited to submit a bid for this project. Specifications, terms, conditions and instructions for submitting bids are contained herein. This Invitation for Bid with all pages, documents and attachments contained herein, or subsequently added to and made a part hereof, submitted as a fully and properly executed bid shall constitute the contract between the City and the successful bidder when approved and accepted on behalf of the City by an authorized official or agent of the City. The City of Kalamazoo's Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and Community Planning & Economic Development Department work to revitalize properties and spur development within the City. Both entities own a variety of parcels of land within the City which require sidewalk snow removal during the winter season. This contract is for the removal of snow and ice from the sidewalks of BRA and CPED properties, totaling 13,966 linear feet, as found highlighted in yellow on the attached maps. The scope of work includes snow and ice removal from the 8,600 square feet parking lot located at 501 N Westnedge as well. The contract shall be in effect for the 2023-2024 snow season. The contract shall commence on or about December 1, 2023 and end on April 30, 2024. No Pre-Bid Meeting required. The City reserves the right to postpone the bid opening for its own convenience.
