Playground Equipment and Installation The project will be to qualify engineering and construction firms for the supplying and installation of playground equipment, poured-in-place safety surfacing. The qualified supplier would furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to complete each project according to approved specifications and drawings. These will be submitted at the selection of each project. Playground Installations: All playground surfacing and/or equipment installations shall be performed by a State of Pennsylvania licensed General Contractors in compliance with the (CPSC) U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission Guidelines, (ADA) U.S. Americans With Disabilities Act, (ASTM-F1487) American Society for Testing and Materials Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use, the (NRPA) National Recreation and Parks Association, all conditions, rules, documents and guidelines as set forth by The School District of Philadelphia (insert link to Capitol Playground info) and all other governing bodies having jurisdiction for the location of the project. (No Exceptions) The contractor shall have a current or held a CPSI (Certified Playground Safety Inspector), for the last 3-year certificate period. A copy of the certificate shall be submitted with the bid.The contractor shall be responsible for completed turnkey projects ready for use as described in the submitted drawing(s) for each project. The contractor is responsible to maintain a clean, safe working environment on a public-school facility. The contractor is responsible for pick-up and delivery, on site storage of all equipment, final clean-up and repair to any site damage as a result of the completed project. All work shall be performed coordinated thru The School District of Philadelphia designated representative in a manner that does not interfere or interrupt the educational process. All materials and/or equipment shall be installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. The contractor is responsible for communicating with the playground equipment and materials representative prior to installation to ensure proper installation procedure and maintain all safety regulation compliance for the completed project as described in the project approved specifications and drawing(s) The contractor must have a list with contact information, minimum of (5) years' experience and references from the last (5) years to be submitted with the bid with contact information. The installing contractor shall be certified by playground equipment and/or surfacing manufacturer to install the equipment specified.
