City of Delta invites bids for the construction of the 2023 Transit Related Road Infrastructure Program (TRRIP). Site 1: WB River Road before Delwood Drive The work generally consists of excavation and disposal of topsoil, installation of a concrete pad flush with existing sidewalk to elongate the existing bus stop, and replacing topsoil and sod. Site 2: EB River Road before Delwood Drive The work generally consists of excavation and disposal of topsoil, installation of a concrete pad flush with existing sidewalk to elongate the existing bus stop, and replacing topsoil and sod. Work at this site will also involve electrical improvements including a new underground power supply for a future bus shelter. Site 3: WB 2 Avenue between 52A Street and 53 Street The work generally consists of excavation and disposal of topsoil, installation of concrete pad flush with existing sidewalk to elongate the existing bus stop, and replacing topsoil and sod. Work at this site will also involve electrical improvements including a new underground power supply for a future bus shelter. Site 4: 112 Street between 90 Avenue WB and 90 Avenue EB The work generally consists of excavation and disposal of topsoil, installation of concrete pad flush with existing sidewalk and curb, to elongate the existing bus stop, and replacing topsoil and sod. Site 5: 112 Street after Glenbrook Place The work generally consists of tree protection, excavation and disposal of topsoil, installation of additional concrete pad flush with existing sidewalk and curb to elongate the existing bus stop, and replacing topsoil and sod. Site 6: NB 80 Street at Churchill Street The work generally consists of excavation and disposal of topsoil, installation of concrete curb, gutter, bus pad and sidewalk, asphalt letdowns, replacing topsoil and hydroseeding. Work at this site will also involve electrical improvements including a new underground power supply for a future bus shelter. Site 7: River Road East of Centre Street Work at this site will also involve electrical improvements including a new underground power supply for a future bus shelter. Award is subject to final approval.
