Demolition of Former Hess Gas Station. Question Deadline 11/10/2023 Questions concerning this IFB should be directed to the City of Pittsfield Purchasing Agent up to five (5) business days before the time and date ofthe bid opening. The Work under the Contract consists ofremoval of asbestos-containing materials, hazardous materials, building demolition and utility disconnects and site restoration work as designated in the Contract Documents for the following property located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts: 250 Tyler Street (Former Hess Station) All work shall be performed by Massachusetts licensed Contractors in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. All costs associated with the above-described work as well as work described under the Contract shall be borne by the Contractor. The City of Pittsfield shall not be responsible for any costs associated with this work. 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance ofthe Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities.
