The department will not hold retention on this project. Per utah state code as 13-8-5 (1) prime contractors cannot hold retention. Refer to utah code as 13-8-5 (1) for more information. Wage Rates: Apply The principal items of work are as follows (for all items of work see attachment): 10 ft (50% porous) snow fence 6 ft (50% porous) snow fence 4 ft lath snow fence Engineer's Estimate: Less Than or Equal $500k Each bidder must submit an electronic bid bond from an approved surety company using UDOT's Electronic Bid System (EBS); or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Utah Department of Transportation, showing evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required.
