Site work and new construction of a service station / car wash facility in Norman, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; and for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

As of January 12, 2023 project was rejected. No definite date for the rebid. Cleveland County District 2 is looking for a qualified vendor to design and build a new 40'x60' enclosed vehicle wash down facility. Located at: 6706 E Alameda Street, Norman, OK 73026. The vendor will be responsible for all planning functions as well as permitting with the Department of Environmental Quality. The building will need an interior full height wall separating the building into 2 bays. One bay will be a drive though bay to wash down vehicles and semi trucks and a second bay for vacuum/blowout and the facility mechanicals, (3) 12'x11' insulated metal doors with automatic door openers with up/down/stop switches (1) 30" initial shop door 10' tall internal metal walls in the wash bay 8' tall walls in the vacuum and blow out station Radiant heat Insulate the walls and celling with spray applied 2" closed cell foam o 6" concrete rebar reinforced floors with epoxied coated sealant (interior floors only) (2) 30'x10' 6" thick concrete pads for entrance and exit The exit pad will be used to wash down road equipment and will need appropriate drains. o Must include DEQ required water reclamation system (8) 120vac 20amp circuits with (16) duplex outlets with protective cover plates (4) 240vac 60 amp circuits with (4) outlets Moisture proof LED lighting on at 10' up side walls and spaced 6' apart o Electrical panel with power disconnect to the building. Commercial grade pressure washer(s) capable of operating (2) 4000psi wands at once. Pump(s) to be belt operated with (5) solution selections (5) 55 gallon chemicals (1) Asphalt remover, (1) Vehicle soap, (1) Vehicle wax, (1) Lime Remover, (1) Bog and Tar Remover (4) Stations with insulated pressure washing wands and foam cannons with water proof chemical/rinse selector switches. The 2 stations by the exit will need 75' hose reels with unto retractors to support wash down on the outdoor exit pad. (1) Commercial grade vacuum based on (TVS Power Vic 100002 3-Motor Commercial Vacuum) (1) 7.5hp 60gal air compressor with belt operated pump. Include piping to vacuum area. All permits as required by law. Performance Bond equal to the total amount of the bid. Labor and Materials Payment Bond equal to the total amount of bid. Certifications of Insurance: Liability Insurance, Workers' Compensation Insurance and Property Insurance (Builder's Risk) in reasonable amounts. The Contractor shall name Cleveland County as an additional assured under said Public Liability Insurance. Au executed Business Relationship Affidavit and Non-Collusion Affidavit are required from all bidders. (A Business Relationship Affidavit is included in these specifications.) The awarded contractor shall execute a contact with Cleveland County within Gluten (13) days from the date of the bid award, in accordance with the Terme net forth in their specifications and pursuant to the sample contrary attached. All bidders require a Bid bond (Surrey Bonda) or Cashier's Check for five percent (5%) of the Contractor's bid be submitted with vendors hid. The Surrey on such bonds shall be a surety company satisfactory to Cleveland County Costs of such bonds and because are to be included in the bid price quoted. Attorneys-in-Fact who sign bonds must file with each bonda certified and effective dated copy of their Power of an Attorney Questions about the project may be emailed to Paul Meyer, District #2 Foreman ar pmeyer@clevelandcountyok.com & Brian Wint, Facilities & Project Manager at bwint@clevelandcountyok.com by 4 pm on 11/20/2023. Contractor shall provide all freight, materials, labor, tools, accessories, equipment, utilities, conduits, concrete and any other items or services required for a turn-key installation Contractor shall be responsible for any damage caused that may occur due to lds action of kick of action on the project site during, construction. Any damage to permanent items incurred by contractor through his work in the contract shall be repaired to original condition by the contractor at his own expense A Licensed Contractor must perform the construction. All goods or materials purchased herein are subject to approval by the end user. Any rejection of goods or materials resulting because of nonconformity to the terms and specifications of this order, whether held by the end user or returned, will be at the Vendor's risk and expense.
