The scope of work includes, but may not be limited to, electrical panel replacement as per the technical specifications and drawings outlined in Section II of this Invitation for Bids (IFB). Project location: 624 Nye Avenue located in Irvington, NJ. A bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties, certified check or bank draft, payable to the Irvington Housing Authority shall be submitted with each bid. The bid guarantee shall be in an amount equal to but not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount (not to exceed $20,000). Bids bonds must be obtained from a New Jersey licensed company that appears on the latest edition of the US Treasury Circular Number 570, List of Approved Sureties. Bidders must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue and with the New Jersey Department of Labor as a Public Works contractor at the time the bids are received. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
