The following are requests for various flooring products, labor and material to be used in the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government's Housing Rehabilitation Program. During the past fiscal year, we purchased over 1000 yards of material, and we expect to continue at the same rate this year. Floor would need to be installed within three to five working days of verbal notice. Quantities, locations and dates will vary. Prices quoted are to be good for the length of the contract with the option to renew for 1 additional year. Installer is responsible for measuring, and assuring the sub floor surface is clear of all and any debris setting nails if needed, and filling of seams/gaps prior to installation. All work to be done in a workman like manner. Due to LCG's accounting system, pricing on invoice will have to reflect single unit price for each item as quoted. Price per Square Yard, removal of existing glued flooring from structure, per layer, may be either composition tile, sheet goods, or wooden flooring. Price per Square Yard, installed, 12" x 12" x %", vinyl composition tile, Azrock or equal, tile, glue and labor, edges to be no greater than %" from wall. Price per Square Yard, Installed, indoor/outdoor carpet, SHAW Neyland III 26 or Equal; Construction, level loop; pile fiber: 100% permacolor polypropylene; gauge 1/10, tufted Yarn weight 26oz; stitches/inch: 12.8; finished pile thickness 163"; pile density 5742; Primary backing: synthetic; secondary backing: clissicBac; price to include material, glue, standard metal transition strips at doorways and labor; edges to be no greater than 3/8" from wall. Roll widths 12' or 15'. Same as #5, except no glue. Sand existing wooden floor. Install three coats of clear polyurethane gloss sealer over same. Smooth down with steel wool as required after each coat. Price per square foot. Same as #5, except no glue. Sand existing wooden floor. Per yard, labor and material, latex floating of existing floor tile, per coat. Per foot labor and material, wax and seal tile flooring, base on five coats. Per foot labor and material, stain new flooring to color selected by owner, with the understanding stain will not match adjacent in those cases where existing flooring is not removed and stain is being applied to new wood. Per foot labor and material, floating of existing floor surface with latex material to provide base for new flooring. Said bond shall be listed on the U.S. Department of Treasury Financial Management Service List of approved bonding companies, which is published annually in the Federal Register Circular No. 570, showing an underwriting limitation sufficient to cover 100% of the purchase. Any bidder not furnishing bid security when required, may cause rejection of said bid.
